Hi, I'm Alison

I am an engaging celebrant, who is very family orientated. Having a strong sense of empathy and understanding of what makes people tick, I am passionate about my role in your special day and will go the extra mile to make your ceremony a true reflection of your love. I live with my husband Kevin, two labrador dogs, Murphy and Dougie and cats Morse and Bryan. My children are both grown and moved out of the family home, but we all make the effort to bring our family together whether in our family home, holidays together or going to concerts and the theatre as often as we can. I have a love of walking, reading books, reminiscing over the old music of my youth and socialising in the pub with friends and locals from the village. I have a wealth of real-life experience, a love of life and a sense of humor. I am very interested in listening to people’s stories, especially their life experiences and family history.

As your celebrant, I bring a warm, gentle and calm presence to your special day, ensuring that every moment feels personal and heartfelt. I understand that these ceremonies are deeply emotional and my approach is to create a safe, supportive atmosphere where you can truly relax and enjoy the experience. With a soothing voice and a reassuring demeanor, I guide you through every step, ensuring everything flows seamlessly while keeping the focus on your and your story. My goal is to bring sense of ease and grace to your day, leaving you free to soak in the joy and love that surrounds you.
